The Heart of Cooper Young

While Memphis boasts a wide variety of historic neighborhoods, Cooper Young is its own impressive entity.  Vibrant, eclectic, and wholly unique, the neighborhood is named for the intersection of Cooper Street and Young Avenue and was founded in 1899.  Radiating outward from this intersection, you will find a diverse collection of local businesses, century-old homes, and art installations.  Cooper Young boasts a strong sense of community, filled with artists, businessfolk, families, visionaries, and a lot of really great dogs that would love to stroll by and say hello.
